What a tune-up actually is

Not a visual inspection and a filter change. This is the whole list, published, because the list is the difference between a tune-up with meters on it and an invoice.

Questions about the Club

  • Can I cancel?

Yes, with a phone call, any time, no fee and no term. We will not ask you to email a form or give thirty days' notice, because both of those are ways of making cancelling hard enough that some people stop trying.

  • What happens if I need a repair between tune-ups?

You get the discount for your tier, you are scheduled ahead of non-members, and on Gold and Platinum the diagnostic fee is waived. Platinum also removes the after-hours, weekend and holiday overtime charge, which is the one that matters at eleven at night.

  • Does this pay for parts or a new system?

No. It is a maintenance membership, not a service contract and not insurance. It reduces what repairs cost; it does not pay for them, and it does not pay for replacement equipment. If somebody sells you a plan on this trade telling you otherwise, get it in writing.

  • Is it per system or per house?

Per system. A house with two air handlers is two memberships, and we tell you that before you sign up rather than after. That is also why the second-system tune-up promotion exists — the work is genuinely double, the drive is not.

  • What if I sell the house?

It transfers to the buyer at no charge if they want it, and it ends if they do not. Either way you tell us and that is the whole process.
